6:59 pm - [07] Hangin' 'round the mistletoe, waitin' for you dear
|
I for one love mistletoes.
Are there still mistletoes around? I'm counting how many times I've been rescued from the clutches of those dreaded mistletoes. And I appreciate how considerate some ladies were of saving me. I didn't get some of their names but I should, to show them my gratitude.
And sorry for those who were unfourtunate with their mistletoe run-ins. I saw a fellow Ravenclaw running from one earlier. I'm glad I didn't go through that.
Anyways, things have been going well with me lately. The strike is finally over, and I've been enjoying every bite of the food served in the Great Hall. And hopefully the next quidditch game will come soon. The only thing I really have to dread for is NEWTS, but thats not right away thankfully. I'm counting down the days till christmas break. And I realized this is my last christmas break. How depressing. I'm going to be around London since father will be out again most likely. and I'll visit whoevers planning to spend it outside of Hogwarts. If anyone needs company that is.

1:58 pm - [06] I'm ready for it.
|
Well I apologize on the lack of updating my life events here. But what more interesting would it be complaining about how much I wanted to barf out these recent meals? And dealing to put up with all this home economic education? I would vent somemore but there's no point. All I have to say is that they were born to serve wizards. And it's been that way for a long time.
But this Hogsmeades weekend has got me in a better mood. Getting away from this "strike" was exactly what I wanted. Besides the fact I've almost tripped on some little rowdy 1st years. Ugh.

7:44 pm - [05]you got all the puppets with their strings up
|
So Halloween is coming up and I am clueless on what to wear during such festivities. I dont know if it should be filled with gore, or sterotypical or humorous, or simple. Well I'm a bloke for one, so I'm not really on the creative side. Suggestions would be useful. And no, I am not going to dress like a bird.
Though I'm curious on what Dumbledore has planned for this upcoming Halloween. It better be good being that it is my final year. Well if it some type of ball, I have a few options on who shall I have as my partner. I hope theres some festivities and if not, someone such as myself will make up for that. But I'm pretty sure that there'll be something. And it better not be in the woods
On to other news in my life, I found myself waking up in the couch of the common room with someone's cat on a table about to eat my homework this morning. For one, I remember going to my own bedroom (honestly) and two, please keep an eye out for your own pets. I dont know how I wounded up in the common room but..it just happened. Strange.
And they still havent found Creevey and Kirke? I bet they're deep inside the forbidden forest. The forest is insanely huge anyway. Well, best luck for them to get help.

4:43 pm - [04] but i swear that you got me all wrong.

Well after nearly past a week I finally found my journal. Which is a reason why I couldn't explain myself in writing earlier.
So camp. It had it's upsides and downsides. Worst downside is Hooch waking me up senseless because I suddenly walked right into her bed But I thank Merlin so much this is my last year in Hogwarts because I am never reliving that again. Well besides the pranks and sleeping with Morag. But I could do those things in Hogwarts too
And now I'd like to make clear of things. I did not go around looking to shag other people. And no, I am not interested in blokes. For those encounters that I still do not recall but I am accused of only ends up to one conclusion.
Sleepwalking.
I don't know why or how it happened. It just happened. Hopefully that will be the last time it'll occur because after getting a wake-up call by Hooch waking up, I felt slightly sore. And my ears hurt.
But whatever, it's in the past and I apologize to those that I have graced with my presence.

10:08 pm - [03] if im just bad news, then you're a liar

Well, well this season will be interesting that's all I can say. It will be better than last season, and I'm sure of it. And if you're a good Ravenclaw, you will completely flaunt your full support the quidditch team. Daphne, you're going to be mine.
The eye's getting better for those who are concerned. (Ladies?) I think the bruise will go away by the time the first game starts. That is another bludger doesnt get whacked at my face again. Which it wont be likely to ever happen again. Though injuries do grab the attention of others, I really do enjoy the pampering from some.
And moving on to another note, I heard there will be a camping trip from Thursday morning to Sunday evening. A...camping trip? The last time I was ever in a camping trip was hmm let's see...never. Yes surprising I know. Eddie Carmichael has had many experiences in his life, but camping is not one of them
Would someone like to give me a few good reasons why I should attend this? Convince me why I should leave the comfort of Hogwarts?
And that I wont be eaten by some ravage forest monster I mean my curiousity is slightly peaked into going for this, but I'm not entirely convinced. I mean isn't it called the Forbidden Forest for a reason? And I sure wasn't a fan for the Care for Magical Creatures class. But yes, convince me if you can. I want to know your opinions before I report myself to Flitwick dealing with my withdrawal from this "educational recreation" Alcohol could be one reason
Hm, I think I should run into a certain someone sometime this week.

[Private to Self] C'mon Eddie pull yourself together Okay so Michael had one point, I didn't practice as much as I did in other past years. But honestly, A bludger? Right straight in the face! I know those bloody things are crazy, but I should be used to dodging any coming my way. It was as if I asked for it. Thankfully I'm not blind in my right eye. It hurts like hell though, but I dont want to go to Pomfrey yet, I mean its not that bad or at least it doesnt look bad
But c'mon I've been playing quidditch for what? Nearly 4 years! Sure I blamed the potential beater, but I knew I could've dodged that.
Maybe it's because I stayed up finishing off homework. Ah, here I go with procrastinating.
Well at least I wasn't hit by a quaffle, that would've been embarassing [ /Private]
Quidditch tryouts were...um.. interesting. It's nice to play with the teammates again. An accident did happen to me during tryouts but dont worry my right eye is perfectly fine. It's a little swollen. But thankfully I am not blind. I dont think I need to go to Pomfrey for it. I'm not a baby Whoever was trying out for beater, pay attention to wear your hitting. Please. You dont want your Keeper to be injured during a game do you?
And hm. What is this I see? Disputes? Female disputes? Cat fights are nice to watch, but it's the beginning of the year. Girls who cheers for the team by performing stunts in cute outfits are hot. Also girls who know or at least can play quidditch are hot too. So do whatever pleases you.
It's almost the weekend, thank Merlin. I want to go over to Hogsmeades soon.

1:11 pm - [01] set yourself on fire
|
Can I get a hooray for our last year in Hogwarts?
To think I was an eeny youngster who was growing into puberty when I started. And now here I am coming to an age where my hair will soon turn gray. Oh brings a tear to your eye, doesnt it?
Dont' remind me that I'll be hitting the 'A' word soon. Merlin that brings shivers to my spine. Growing up is a painful experience isn't it? I remember my first year in Hogwarts, and the time when I "accidently" spilled my potion on Crabbe and his skin turned blue. Clumsy me
No matter, I have one motto for the year. Live it up. Live up every good moment that happens this year. And I'm not talking about cherishing the walk up and down those moving stairs or even what you think will be your last first book check out from the library of the year. I'm talking about moments that we're going to look back and remember when our hair does discolor and we are officially an 'A' word. Make the best of those moments.
That is my socratic message of the week. Anyways! It's been a week and waking up early has got to be the most dreadful thing to do all week. And staying up during class. And homework . Ugh homework. What a workout.
The upsides? It's great seeing everyone again. Oh how I missed seeing your bright faces, Especially you ladies
Ah, quidditch tryouts are on the 11th, correct? Another thing I look forward to, the wonderful sport of quidditch. I miss flying and the wind in my hair. And Ravenclaw? Let's reach for the cup. I'd like to walk out of school accomplishing that goal.
